Melbourne Cup Day

The Club looks forward to welcoming members and their guests to join us for this year's Melbourne Cup function on Tuesday, 7 November.

We will be offering a BBQ Buffett with plenty of delicious options for all. The cost for this event will be $65 per person and includes a drink on arrival.

There will be sweepstakes, Melbourne Cup trivia and prizes for best dressed on the day also.

Club Championships

Members are reminded that entries close for the 2023 Club Championships this Monday, 23 October.

This year's Championships will be 72-hole Stroke Play, to be held on the first two weekends of November. There will be a cut after 36 holes, with the top 12 players and ties in each grade qualifying for the 3rd round on Saturday, 11 November. The final round will see the top 8 players plus ties in each grade play on Sunday, 12 November to decide our 2023 Club Champions.

2023 Club Championships Registration Form

The 2023 Women's Club Championships will be contested over 36-holes on Sunday 5 and Sunday 12 November, with tee times to be reserved for those eligible competitors.

No Tee Draw - Thursday, 26 Oct

Members are advised that there will be no tee draw on Thursday, 26 October due to the first and second round of the Club Championship being held the following weekend (4th & 5th November).

Those members who have registered to play in the Club Championships will automatically be booked into these time sheets, and the remaining vacant tee times will open to members seven days prior at 6:00pm.

Those members not contesting the Club Championships will play a single Stableford off the black tee markers on these days.

Harley Holohan Victorious at Killara

Congratulations to Eastlake member Harley Holohan who shot a superb round of 3 under par on Sunday 8th October to win the prestigious Killara Cup.

It has been a while since an Eastlake member claimed a top Vardon trophy, but our Club boasts some strong contenders for these events.

We look forward to seeing Harley and some of the other members capture more of these trophies in the future.

2024 Mixed Pennants

The 2024 Mixed Pennant season is scheduled to commence in early February and the Club is seeking expressions of interest from potential team members.

The maximum handicap is 27 (men) and 36 (women), and our opponents are: Bexley, Mona Vale and Woollahra.

Presentation Night

Members and their families are invited to attend the 2023 Presentation Night and dinner on Saturday 16 December. The night will be an opportunity to recognize our 2023 Champions and will commence at 6:00pm with dinner to follow from 7:30pm.

The cost for the dinner will be $55 pp for the two-course meal, and we hope our many trophy winners and their families will join us for what should be a wonderful evening. Please ensure you book in advance as spots are limited.
