2023 Major Trophies

Recipients of our 2023 Major Club events have begun collecting their trophy from the Office. Major Trophy winners receive a personalized bag tag with their name and the details of their victory etched on the back.

The front of the bag tag is personalized to show the Club logo, hole number, par and length of each hole and the feedback from recipients has been extremely positive.

6th Tee Renovations

Members are advised that the 6th hole will be out of play from next week whilst our course team re-turf the tee which continues to battle the effects of excessive shade and heavy foot traffic.

During this time, Hole 2B will be brought into play and golfers will head directly to the 7th tee after completing the 5th hole. We thank members for their understanding whilst this essential work is completed, and the grass grows in.

Hole Indexes

At the recent meeting of the Match & Greens Committee, the playability data for all three courses (Black, Blue and White) was presented and reviewed.

There were some minor discrepancies between the difficulty of some holes and how they are rated and as such, new course ratings will come into effect from February 1st, 2024.

These new indexes will reflect the difficulty of each hole over the past 12 months and should ensure they better reflect the true difficulty of each hole.

Golf Buggy on Tee

Course Etiquette

With our course currently in terrific condition following recent rain and warm sunny days, members are requested to be mindful of not wheeling their electric or push buggies up onto the tees prior to teeing off.

The tees at Eastlake GC see significant traffic throughout the year, and bringing buggies onto the tees only adds to the wear and stress placed on our teeing grounds.
