First Aid

Members are advised that in addition to the first aid and defibrillator kit available within the Clubhouse, the Club has recently installed a second defibrillator unit at the Halfway House. 

Due to the risk of theft and vandalism in this isolated area of the course, the green unit (pictured) has been installed in a lockbox and members are advised that the keycode for this box is 1932 (the year the Club was established).

The installation of this secondary defibrillator unit is just one measure the Club has implemented this year to improve staff's ability to respond to a medical emergency on-course, with a member training session being planned for the future.

Club Cancellation Policy

With daylight savings having finished, members will be aware of the stronger demand for tee times on a weekend. With this in mind, members are reminded of the details of the Club's booking cancellation policy, whereby:

- Time Swapping: Members may ‘swap’ their tee time with another member already booked on the same sheet up to 5:00pm the Thursday before play.

- Cancelled bookings: Members who fail to play at their booked tee time but cancel by calling the pro-shop early on the morning of play will have their tee time marked as ‘canceled booking’ with frequent cancellations leading to the Club charging the member for the missed competition tee time ($14).

- No Show bookings: Members who fail to play at their booked tee time and do not cancel by phone to the pro-shop early on the morning of play will be deemed a "no show". Members who 'No Show' for a weekend tee time will receive an email from the club advising that they are required to pay the competition or social fee in addition to a $36 fine.

We wish to avoid imposing these penalties so ask all members to be considerate of their fellow members and cancel early if they are unable to play.
