Annual Tee Renovations

We wish to advise members that annual tee renovations will commence on Monday, 13th January as part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining high-quality playing surfaces.

During this process, the tees will undergo the following treatments:

- Scalping to a height of 8mm to remove excess thatch and promote healthy growth.
- Coring using 16mm hollow tines to improve aeration and soil structure.
- Top dressing and fertilization to enhance recovery and provide essential nutrients.
- For shadier tees, such as the 6th, we will over-sew the tee with rye grass to ensure a swift recovery and maintain healthy, durable surfaces through the coming months.

We appreciate member's patience while this important maintenance work is carried out. These renovations are essential for promoting consistent playing conditions and ensuring the long-term health of the course.

NTP via Mi-Score App

We're excited to announce that from 1st February 2025, the Club will be running the Nearest the Pin (NTP) and Super Pin competitions through the MiScore App! This change will make it easier, faster, and more accurate to record and verify NTP results during competitions.

Only one player in the group needs to be using the MiScore App to add a name for the group's NTP entry, and entries are automatically submitted to prize results, including a record of the player's name and distance for verification.

Further step-by-step instructions on how to add your name to the NTP leaderboard in the MiScore App will be sent in a separate email. We appreciate your support as we implement this new and improved system and look forward to seeing you on the course!

Safety Reminder: No Standing on the Back of Golf Carts

We would like to remind all members that standing or riding on the back of golf carts is strictly prohibited at Eastlake Golf Club. While it may seem harmless, this practice poses a significant risk of injury, not only to the individual but also to others nearby. Golf carts are designed to carry seated passengers only, and any misuse can lead to falls, collisions, or tipping incidents.

In addition to safety concerns, it is important to understand the insurance implications under Australian law. If an injury occurs as a result of improper cart usage, the individual involved may face limited or no coverage under personal insurance policies, especially if the activity is deemed negligent. Similarly, the Club's public liability insurance may be impacted, potentially leaving both the injured party and the Club exposed to legal and financial risks.

For the safety of all members and guests, we ask that everyone adheres to proper golf cart usage at all times. Your cooperation helps us maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all players.
