Club Championships – Round 3 Update
Round 3 wrapped up today, and the final stretch is shaping up nicely across all grades.
A Grade
Reigning Club Champion Scott Robertson put together a strong 71, extending his lead to seven shots over Chris Stemi and Scott Campbell. While there’s still one round to go, it will take something special from the chasing pack to reel him in tomorrow.
A Reserve
Bobby Farrugia continued his steady form, posting a 76 to stay four shots clear at the top. Nicholas Lim matched Bobby’s score for the day and remains the closest challenger heading into Sunday.
B Grade
This is the tightest race of the championships. Mick Kelly holds a two-shot lead over Ryan Saltrer, with Scott Guthrie only five shots back. All three are well in the hunt and this one could easily go down to the wire.
C Grade
John Kyriazis leads by four from Joel Steel, with Robert Faludi sitting five back. With the margins this close, every contender will have a genuine chance if they can piece together a strong final round.
